
Location: Lagos
Responsibilities
• Recruit and train sales staff
• Supervise, motivate and monitor team performance
• Allocate areas to sales executives
• Set budgets and targets
• Liaise with other line managers
• Report back to senior managers
• Liaise with customers (which may include actual selling)
• Maintain detailed knowledge of the company’s products and services
• Maintain accounts of the team
• Liaise with suppliers to check the progress of existing orders
• Keep abreast of what competitors’ activities
• Research the market and related products
Requirements
• A bachelor’s degree in social sciences or equivalent
• Minimum of five years sales experience
• Written and spoken communication skills
• Problem solving and negotiation skills
• Initiative and ability to offer new ideas
• Organizational and planning skills
• Good presentation as well as interpersonal skills
• Excellent computer skills and thorough understanding of the internet
• Understanding of data management and book keeping
